Pastor
Elias has served as an assistant Pastor at Grace Achievers Church, in Lusaka, Zambia for five years. After his tenure at Grace Achievers Church, he planted a church in Emmasdale which is currently being pastored by one the graduates from the Grace Theological College. In January 2006, Elias accepted an additional challenge by GMMI's Council of Bishops (of which he is a member) to serve as Pastor-in-Charge of the Christian Life Centre, in Chipata Overspill, Lusaka.
Vision Forum 21
Elias Munshya is involved in the Vision Forum 21, which is a series of meetings that bring together young married couples for fellowship, prayer, and teachings in order to have their marriages strengthened. Several men and women of God have spoken at these meetings, including Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Siame and Bishop Chachi Chongo.
Leadership Vision
Leadership Vision is also another initiative Elias Munshya is involved in. Through this initiative Elias imparts leadership principles to various peoples including churches, pastors, businessmen, and students. For about nine months Elias produced and presented "Leadership Vision" radio program on Radio Choice FM.
Feeding Africa's Poor
To intervene in the lives of thousands of children who have been left without parents as a result of the HIV and AIDS crisis that has hit his nation Zambia, Elias has, through the Elias Munshya Ministries, Inc., been mobilizing for resources to help mitigate the impact of the suffering of thousands of children. It is the vision of Elias Munshya Ministries, Inc. to see that all those children that are vulnerable are assisted in Education, Health, Shelter, and Food using the Family-Oriented Intervention. The family Oriented Intervention is a strategy that seeks to provide basic necessities to the vulnerable children within their extended family structures. And so orphans and other vulnerable children can be helped with school fees, books, basic medical care, and food without having to uproot them from a traditional extended family structure.
Grace Theological College
The Grace Theological College (GTC) exists to raise a generation of leaders in the Kingdom of God who are spiritually anointed, academically competent, and socially relevant to serve God in their specific fields of calling with passion, excellence and character. Rev. Elias Munshya has served at GTC since 2001 as a lecturer. In 2004 he assumed the leadership of the College as its Principal. Under the leadership of Rev. Munshya, GTC continued on its mission and several men and women were trained for Christian service. GTC graduates are effectively serving God in Zambia and other countries in Africa. GTC is a training school of Grace Ministries Mission International.
